Nepal First Hunt After COVID-19 Pandemic

The world is facing an unprecedented global health, social and economic emergency as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The impact of COVID-19 pandemic on Tourism industry is tremendous. Travel and tourism is among the most affected sectors with a massive fall of international demand amid global travel restrictions including many borders fully closed, to contain the virus. Globally, wildlife is also affected by unprecedented changes related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Although the first imported COVID-19 case was detected as early as 23 January, 2020. On March 24 2020, Nepal went into a national lockdown which was lifted on 22 July 2020. Nepal resumed all international flights from September 01, 2020. The situation was getting better but many things were restricted. The Tourism of Nepal is also slowly starting.
Our Spring Hunt Season (March-April) 2020 went to hell. We were not able to operate hunt Fall Season (October-November) 2020 as well because of Pandemic. There are not any hunting in whole year 2020.
From the begging of year 2021, the situation of Nepal was getting better and cases of COVID-19 were minimum. We were able to operate hunt in Spring (March-April) 2021.

All three hunters happily go back to their country after the successful hunt. All three got mature sheep and Dr. Joan also got Tahr as well. Team Heli Everest and Captain Suraj Thapa helped us to dropped to the hunt area and picked up us after the hunt. Our all the supporting staffs did their great Job especially local hunting guide Mr. Maan Pun and guide Raju Gurung.
